What to Expect…

At Apex Chiropractic, we believe that one of the most important aspects of excellent patient care is communication and for that reason you will work directly with your doctor the entirety of your visit.   When both doctor and patient have a clear understanding of the diagnosis, treatment options and goals, the best outcomes are reached.   As a former college athlete, Dr. Owens knows how frustrating it can be to have an injury preventing you from getting back to what you love.  The initial priority for treatment is minimizing your pain and providing symptom relief but what makes Apex different is, we don’t just stop there.   Pain is only one aspect of an injury, to ensure you will have the knowledge and strategies for injury prevention, exercise protocols and optimal function.

Different Stages of a Chiropractic Appointment

Initial Evaluation

An examination which entails a comprehensive health history and physical evaluation to determine the underlying cause of your pain or dysfunction and provide the appropriate treatment options to fit your goals.  Treatment is typically provided on your very first visit!

Report of Findings

A detailed consultation following the initial evaluation in which diagnosis, treatment options and potential outcomes are discussed.  The first visit can often be ‘information overload’, the report of findings serves to slow the process down and provide clarity to all aspects of your care.

Follow-Up Visits

Patient progress is reassessed on each visit to determine continued improvement and modify any aspects of the treatment plan.
